To ensure he traveled with a piece of home, his most treasured companion was recreated to lay closely by his paws. The miniature plush mouse was deliberately needle-felted without ears—a faithful replica of the real toy that Barak had lovingly worn down over the years.

After facing health challenges over his final years with incredible resilience, Barak found his rest in late September. He is remembered not just for his protective loyalty, but for the profound warmth and joy he brought to his home.
